Ask a thousand people, and own every answer.
Surveys on your own domain, with the responses staying on your server.
$449 for your first year — everything included.
Handed over working, not handed over to configure
- A survey system at your own address, ready to publish within 48 hours, and the administrator login is yours.
- Unlimited surveys and unlimited responses. No charge per response and no cap mid-study.
- Question types that real research needs — matrices, conditional branching, quotas, randomisation.
- Anonymous responses that are genuinely anonymous, with the audit trail to show it.
- Invitations and reminders sent to a participant list you control.
- Results exportable to Excel, CSV, SPSS or R, which is the format your analyst will ask for.
- Surveys in more than one language, with the same questions kept in step across all of them.
- Nightly backups kept 30 days, so a month of fieldwork is never one mistake from gone.
What you pay, and what it covers
Two figures. No line items, no setup charge broken out, and nothing you find out about after the invoice.
Your first year
$449
Once, before anything is built.
- The whole thing built, configured and tested before you see it.
- Your domain registered in your name and pointed at it.
- Cloudflare, the certificate and the monitoring, all in place on day one.
- Twelve months of me keeping it running.
- Your login, within 48 hours of payment clearing.
Every year after that
$339
Once a year, and only if you want another year.
- Your domain renewed, still in your name.
- Another twelve months of updates, patches, backups and monitoring.
- The same support, answered by the same person.
- Nothing rebuilt and nothing set up again — which is why it costs less.
This is an annual payment. One invoice, once a year. Nothing is billed monthly, nothing auto-charges, and no card is kept on file. I invoice you 30 days before renewal and you decide what to do — which is also why the reminder arrives while cancelling still costs nothing.
All figures in USD.

| Runs on | LimeSurvey |
Need more? Extra capacity is available at any time — just ask. Nothing is rebuilt and there is no second setup fee.
Email on your own domain
The domain is already yours and already in the price. Mailboxes on it are the one thing that is not, and they are the cheapest upgrade in how your business reads to somebody who has never met you.
Business email
$49
A year, on top of your plan. Up to 5 mailboxes.
- you@yourcompany.com instead of a generic address. It is the first thing a client notices and the last thing they forget.
- Works in Outlook, Apple Mail, Gmail and on your phone. Nothing new to learn and nothing to install.
- SPF, DKIM and DMARC set up properly, so what you send actually lands in an inbox.
- Shared addresses as well — info@, sales@, support@ — pointing wherever you want them to.
- On the same invoice as everything else, renewing with your plan. Never a second bill from anyone.
Or not
—
Keep the address you already use.
- Your survey platform works exactly the same either way.
- Nothing about the plan changes and nothing is disabled.
- You can add it later, at the same price, on your next invoice.
Say yes on the order form, or ask me about it first. Adding it a year from now costs exactly the same as adding it today.
What this does not cover
Stated plainly, so nobody finds out after paying.
- Designing your questionnaire or advising on methodology.
- Analysing the results once they are in.
- Recruiting or supplying respondents.
- Ethics or compliance sign-off. If your study needs approval, that is between you and your committee.
- Importing an existing survey and its responses. Ask and I quote it.
Things I will do, quoted separately
- Bringing your old data over — Your new app arrives blank, and for most people that is the right way to start. If it is not — you have years of invoices, a real customer list, a library of course material — send me a sample and roughly how much there is, and I will quote moving it. It is usually less than people expect.
- Writing the words — Page copy, product descriptions, course material. I will tell you for nothing whether what you have is strong enough. Writing it from scratch is a separate job with a separate quote.
- Building something that is not there — A feature your business needs and the app does not have. Describe what should happen and I will tell you honestly whether it is an afternoon or a fortnight before either of us commits.
- More room — Storage, bandwidth, users or any other cap on your plan. Ask and I quote the difference. Nothing is rebuilt and there is never a second setup fee.
How your survey platform gets built
Answer nine questions about what you are running, how many responses you expect, and your domain.
I confirm the languages, the anonymity setting and who needs an account, then invoice.
You pay. I register the domain, deploy it, create the accounts and run a test response through end to end.
Within 48 hours you are logged in with somewhere to build your first questionnaire.
Before you order
Why not use Google Forms or Typeform?
For a short feedback form, use them. This is for the point where you need branching logic, quotas, real anonymity, or an answer to the question of which country your response data sits in. Research ethics committees ask that question, and "a form vendor somewhere" is often not an acceptable answer.
Are the anonymous responses really anonymous?
Yes, and it is one of the few places this genuinely matters. In anonymous mode the response is separated from the invitation, so even I cannot connect the two. That is a property of how the system stores it rather than a promise I am making.
Is there a limit on responses?
Not a per-response charge, which is what most tools bill you on and what makes a large study expensive. The plan has a bandwidth allowance rather than a response allowance. If a study is going to be very large, tell me the numbers before you launch and I will tell you whether it fits.
Can I get the data into SPSS or R?
Yes, directly, along with Excel and CSV. The export includes the variable labels rather than just the values, which saves the person doing the analysis a genuinely tedious afternoon.
What happens to the data when the study ends?
Whatever you decide. Export it and have me delete it, keep it running for the next study, or take the whole thing with you. Ask and the full export arrives within five business days, at no cost.
Ready when you are
Eight quick questions, about two minutes. No account, no payment on this site — you get an invoice and you decide.
