This is an annual payment. One invoice, once a year. Nothing is billed monthly, nothing auto-charges, and no card is kept on file. I invoice you 30 days before renewal and you decide what to do — which is also why the reminder arrives while cancelling still costs nothing.

Email on your own domain
The domain is already yours and already in the price. Mailboxes on it are the one thing that is not, and they are the cheapest upgrade in how your business reads to somebody who has never met you.

- Shared addresses as well — info@, sales@, support@ — pointing wherever you want them to.
- On the same invoice as everything else, renewing with your plan. Never a second bill from anyone.

What this does not cover
Stated plainly, so nobody finds out after paying.
- Deciding what to put behind the links. That is marketing, not plumbing.
- A custom dashboard or a report built to order.
- Paid add-ons. Buy the licence and I install it.
- Moving an existing set of short links across. Ask and I quote it, and it is usually quick.
Things I will do, quoted separately
- Bringing your old data over — Your new app arrives blank, and for most people that is the right way to start. If it is not — you have years of invoices, a real customer list, a library of course material — send me a sample and roughly how much there is, and I will quote moving it. It is usually less than people expect.
- Writing the words — Page copy, product descriptions, course material. I will tell you for nothing whether what you have is strong enough. Writing it from scratch is a separate job with a separate quote.
- Building something that is not there — A feature your business needs and the app does not have. Describe what should happen and I will tell you honestly whether it is an afternoon or a fortnight before either of us commits.
- More room — Storage, bandwidth, users or any other cap on your plan. Ask and I quote the difference. Nothing is rebuilt and there is never a second setup fee.
How your short links gets built

Before you order
Why not just use Bitly?
Because the link is the brand. A shortener you rent puts somebody else on every piece of print you own, and if that account ever lapses, every link you have ever published stops working. Here the domain is yours, the links are yours, and nothing behind them can be switched off by a company you do not control.
What happens to a link if I stop paying you?
The domain is registered in your name, so you keep it and can point it wherever you want. Ask for the full export and you have every link and its destination as a plain file within five business days. Nothing is held hostage.
Can I change where a link goes after I have printed it?
Yes, and it is the single best reason to run your own. A QR code on a van, a flyer or a business card is permanent; where it points does not have to be.
Does it track the people who click?
It counts clicks, where they came from and roughly which country. It does not build a profile of a person and it does not hand anything to an advertising network. If you want more than counting, that is the Private Analytics side of things rather than this.
Do I need a separate domain for it?
A subdomain of the one you already have works perfectly — go.yourcompany.com or link.yourcompany.com. If you would rather have a short standalone domain, I will register that instead and it is included the same way.
